Luke 9:37-45

Luke 9:37-45 helps us see the glory of Christ on display in his humility. He's willing to leave behind the glory of the transfiguration to descend the mountain to serve the crowds, patiently bear with the disciples, defeat the demonic forces, and proclaim his coming death. Ultimately, this points to Christ's incarnation and ultimate victory over Satan as he crushes him under his feet on the cross in order to redeem a people for the glory of his name.
