Passage: Psalm 115

Join us as our pastor, Jonathan Brooks, teaches on Psalm 115.

Psalm 115 shows how to pray in seasons of hardship, using three key steps: revere God’s glory, remember His promises, and rest in His sovereign power. When we feel abandoned or uncertain, this psalm directs our hearts back to the truth that God has not forgotten us. His steadfast love and faithfulness, proven in Christ, sustain us through every trial. Even when the world mocks and asks, “Where is your God?” we can confidently answer that He is with us, strengthening our faith and giving us hope. Our ultimate purpose is to glorify the Lord, trusting that He will preserve us to the end so that we may bless His name forever.

  • Revere God’s glory. (1-8)
  • Remember God’s promises. (9-13)
  • Rest in God’s sovereignty. (14-18)
