Paul’s prayer for the Colossians church was fueled by a desire to see them live in a manner that pleased the Lord. While it is important for us to pray for each other’s health and physical needs, too often our prayers for each other end there. May we look to Paul’s example and pray for each other that we would all serve God faithfully, grow in our knowledge of Him and rely on God’s strength. And as we truly think about all that God has done for us through Christ, may our hearts be filled with thankfulness.
