Cornerstone Classes will take place on the first and third Sunday evenings of each month from 5:30-7:00pm in the chapel, starting September 7th. It is for adults and students ages 12 and older.
Paul wrote in Ephesians 2:19-22: "So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit."
Our Cornerstone Classes seek to fulfill these verses by building strong disciples of Jesus in the church. Through these classes, we desire to mature in our faith in Christ and understanding of the Bible and making disciples of Jesus together.
In conjunction with these classes, we will also have Cornerstone Kids for ages 2-11 with childcare for ages 0-2. These will take place at the same time. Click on the link below to find out more about Cornerstone Kids and register!
Discipling Cornerstone Class
This fall, our Cornerstone Class will focus on discipling in close one-to-one or one-to-two relationships. What is discipling? Why should I do it? What if I don’t know how to do it? This class will answer all those questions and more as we train those who attend to disciple others to follow Jesus. This class goes to the heart of what our church is called to do: make disciples for the glory of Jesus Christ. We therefore encourage all covenant members to join us and get equipped with both knowledge and passion for discipling.
