As Paul transitioned into this next section, he wanted to contrast earthly wisdom with that of true spiritual wisdom. He challenged the Colossians, and us today, to look to Christ and set our minds on Him. To think differently about the world and how we live. Then he explained the believer’s identity in Christ. We died to our former lives, and now we are hidden and secure in Christ until the day we appear with Him in glory. As we think about the world in light of who Christ is and what He’s done, may we live out the reality that Christ’s presence is within us.
